Business software you can run. And build around.

When off-the-shelf cloud software does not fit, explore self-hosted applications and bespoke IT. We help design the workflows, integrations and support your business needs to own the approach.

Self-hosted business software runs in an environment you or your chosen provider operate. Options can include ERP, CRM, file collaboration and custom applications. Self-hosting changes deployment and maintenance responsibility; software licensing still determines what you may use, modify or redistribute.

Self-hosted does not automatically mean cheaper.

License savings can be offset by infrastructure, implementation, integration and maintenance costs. Some platforms lack features your team relies on, and customizations can complicate upgrades. We compare lifetime effort and supportability—not just the subscription—to decide whether self-hosting makes business sense.

Choose software around the business process.

A vendor-agnostic review considers existing applications, suitable commercial or open-source software and custom development. We map what staff actually do before proposing a replacement, so a self-hosted tool does not simply recreate the same friction in a different location.

ERP and CRM options

Evaluate self-hosted platforms against your reporting, customer, inventory and operational needs. Confirm licensing and functional fit rather than promising that one system can replace every specialized application.

Nextcloud-like collaboration

Assess file sharing, access and collaboration workflows in a selected environment. Verify the capabilities and integrations of the chosen platform before deciding which current tools it can replace.

Bespoke integrations

Scope connections to existing accounting, identity and business systems where supported interfaces are available. Document the data flows, ownership and support boundaries rather than building an undocumented dependency.

Client-controlled deployment

Choose on-premises or selected private hosting according to workload and recovery needs. Agree access, export, backup and documentation so the business understands how to operate or transition the environment.

Installation is the start of ownership—not the end.

A sustainable self-hosted application needs updates, backups, monitoring of its operation and a clear maintenance arrangement. Custom software and migrations are separately scoped projects and can be delivered alongside your current IT provider without a full MSP change.

Discover and test

Map users, data and workflows. Validate essential functions with a pilot and representative records before committing to a wider implementation.

Migrate with a recovery path

Review data quality, exports and import tools. Agree validation, cutover and fallback steps before moving operational data out of the current application.

Maintain and improve

Define who owns patching, release testing, user support and integrations. Plan compatibility checks before upgrades so changes in one application do not silently break another.

Common questions

Does self-hosted mean we own the software?

Not necessarily. You may own the infrastructure and control deployment, while the software remains subject to its license. We clarify licensing, access, data export and any custom development ownership in the scope.

Can you build custom ERP or CRM integrations?

We can scope bespoke integrations around supported interfaces and the workflows you need. Feasibility depends on the applications, data access and licensing; we review those before proposing the build.

Who handles updates and support?

That is agreed as part of the project and maintenance plan. It may involve our team, your internal IT or your current provider. Self-hosted applications still need patching, backups, testing and user support.

Can self-hosted software work offline?

Some locally deployed applications can, provided their data, identity and other dependencies are available locally. Internet integrations will have limitations. We assess the whole workflow before designing disconnected operation.
